Data analysis
Turn messy, unreliable data into a single source of truth you can actually base decisions on.
Data-quality audits that surface the errors quietly costing you time and money; with a clear, prioritized plan to fix them.
I'm Vitalie Ciobanu.
For nearly two decades I've turned data people didn't trust into a foundation the business could actually rely on.
And I help teams do the same.

If every new project somehow leads you back to the same two taboo words, don't worry - you're not alone. Data Quality matters.
I've spent nearly two decades with some of the world's largest multinationals proving exactly that. At PepsiCo, I designed the processes that lifted CMDB and asset data accuracy from the mid-60s to near-100% across Europe. Then I took that data-quality and governance work global, turning data people didn't trust into a foundation the business could actually run on.
That thread runs through everything I do: building reliable data, automating the manual work around it, and turning raw numbers into clear insight through interactive dashboards, data-quality checks, and hands-on Power BI and Excel training.

Hands-on Excel, Power Query and Power BI training that turns your team into confident, self-sufficient analysts, so they stop waiting on reports and start building their own.
Practical guidance to get more value from the data and tools you already have, without buying anything new.
Interactive Power BI dashboards that replace hours of manual reporting and let you see your whole business at a glance.
Built-in filters and drill-downs so stakeholders answer their own questions instead of coming back to you for every number.
Examples of what disciplined data quality actually returns - measured, not claimed.
At PepsiCo I designed the processes that lifted CMDB and asset data accuracy from the mid-60s to near-100% across Europe - then rolled that governance model out globally.
I built a tool that runs a monthly cross-charge of around $3M USD end to end, saving roughly two weeks of work for two people, every single month.
At Experian I owned and led the team behind a report that scored the health of the entire desktop and laptop estate against agreed key metrics - current state and historical trend together - so teams could see at a glance whether the fleet was getting healthier or slipping.
Through exhaustive analysis of host configuration and real usage data, I reconciled Windows Server licensing across a fleet of ESX hosts - matching each host's assigned CPUs against the edition running on it (Standard vs Enterprise) and how many of each sat on the same server. Reconciling business services and moving them onto shared hosts instead of single servers saved around $1.2M in licensing costs.
How to improve CMDB data quality by comparing ServiceNow records with Qualys discovery results - exporting two simple reports and reconciling them in Excel and Power Query.
